Research in Utah

Celebrate Our Peers

At this year’s annual Education Conference, our goal is to celebrate and support the research efforts of our Utah GC peers. Whether you are working on cases studies, completing surveys, or have multiple publications, we want to share your hard work with our colleagues! To support future efforts in research, we have assembled a group of local keynote speakers who will share their expertise with you in grant writing, publishing, supporting students in the research process, and much more. We look forward to spending the day with you exploring this part of our profession!

The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized the Association for Utah Genetic Counselors to offer up to 1.0 CEUs or 10.0 Category 1 contact hours for the activity AUG Research in Utah Series. The conference portion on June 16, 2018 is worth up to 0.5 CEUs and the rest can be earned through the journal clubs. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs earned at this program for the purposes of genetic counselor certification and recertification.
